The second in a series of silk scarves exploring deflected double weave. In theory, every other thread, in both warp and weft, could be removed and there would still be a viable fabric. Well, it wouldn't be as pretty as this fabric is with all the threads in their correct position.
The colours are a mix of magenta, dark burgundy and a paler mauve. The pattern is intricate and helps the smooth slk move and drape beautifully.
Summer Berries? Well, that's what it reminds me of.
