100% silk
Approximatley 25 colours ranging from greens to reds are blended across the warp of this scarf.  I then wove a deflected double weave pattern using just one shuttle (much easier!) loaded with black silk.  Although technically there are two "sides" to the fabric, they are so similar you have to really look to notice.
Have fun with this scarf.   It isn't pretentious, it just wants to make you happy with its chequerboard design from Marian Stubenitsky.
